Safer Ways To Increase Your Metabolism

In medical terms, Metabolism means “The biochemical reactions that occur within a living organism and the energy exchanges and transformations that accompany them.”
Are you of the school of thought that if you starve you will lose weight? If yes, its time to change your thinking! Skipping meals is not the solution to your problems.
There are so many fitness centers which are a cause of misery, simply because they preach on having food which is most harmful and damages the metabolism.
Instead of skipping meals and starving to becoming slim, why not properly have 5-6 meals a day have and balance it with workouts.
Try having a consistent nutrition plan and workout schedules. The frequency as stated earlier should be more. Have a heavy breakfast, say oatmeal, or apple cinnamon cakes. Say a glass of skimmed milk and a bowl of fruits. It’s appetizing and nutritious. The next meal could be in 2-3 hrs, where you can have salad, with lots of greens like cucumber, lettuce, and other salad veggies. Have anything after that, it anyway will become filling as you have already have had salad. Sometime in the evening, have fresh juice or soup. Please avoid packed food items. They are of more damage than starvation. Choose natural food items like egg white, fish, and chicken. You can also have fibrous and low carb fruits.
Now for some exercises which should be balanced along with nutrition. Cardio exercises are good. Try to work on the intensity of the exercise. Say like walking faster and jogging at a slow pace. You can also work out with weights. Men prefer weight, but women tend to skip the same as they find it tedious. It is said my experts that by not trying weights, we are calling for trouble in the form of damaged metabolism. Therefore it is important for both men and women as it makes the arms and shoulders stronger.
Weights also help in easing out the muscles and the whole body. Exercises like crunches, or calf muscle raises etc should be a part of the daily workout. It’s like a cycle which has to move on and on. Once you start, you have to workout and avoid skipping meals. If you stop, you have start all over again.
Let us take an example of a car. You need to keep the engine running so that the battery is in use. You have to add fuel time and again to keep the engine running. Once you stop, that is that! Our body too is the same. We need to keep replenishing it nutritious food and simultaneously workout.
If you feel that by having crash diets or starving you can actually lose weight, then I guess you can think again. There would be no easier a way than this to damage your metabolism and it will take many years to repair the same. To have a perfect metabolism, it is wise to burn more, eat well and above all not starve.
