Posted on March 28, 2008 in Health and Fitness by admin

How to Start?

Set rules for trampoline use and discuss them often with your children. Tell them about the risks of not using the equipment properly. Ask children to remove any necklaces.

How to use the trampoline?

Have someone to properly train your child to do flips and other complex stunts. Never allow more than one kid to use the trampoline at the same time. Try having an adequate number of spotters around the edges of the trampoline.

How to protect trampoline?

Your favorite backyard fun equipment trampoline can be expensive, so it’s required to maintain it properly. Here are some useful tips to keep it ready to be jumped on:

  • Don’t Let your Kids play with the frame pads. The pad is a preventive measure in case the kids land close to the frame.
  • Don’t use harsh chemicals to clean frame pads.
  • Don’t tie pads too tight. It can pull up the pads in case of strong winds, and therefore pull out the straps.
  • If you have an enclosure, lift the skirt where the poles are or cut of the skirt area at the pole. If the pole lies against it, there will be much strain on the pads and can cause skirt seams to rip.
  • Keep animals away from the trampoline.

How to make trampolining safer?

  • If your child uses a trampoline, follow these safety measures:
  • Take care of the Location of the trampoline and follow some safety precautions.
  • Clear the area around the trampoline of objects and do not set it near trees, fences, poles, or other gaming equipment.
  • Always set the trampoline where an energy-absorbing surface (tall grass) surrounds it. Use a frame pad that covers the entire area of the spring system. Try lowering the height to ground level by putting the trampoline in a pit.
